Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: January 1, 2025 | Greater ATL Health — Lyna Ashu, FNP-C
Greater ATL Health is committed to ensuring our website and telehealth services are accessible to all patients, including those with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards.
Our Commitment
We believe every patient deserves equal access to healthcare. As a telehealth practice, accessibility is core to our mission — we exist specifically to remove barriers to care, including physical distance, mobility limitations, and transportation challenges.
We continually work to improve the accessibility of our website and communications to ensure a positive experience for all users.
Accessibility Features of This Website
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements — navigation, buttons, links, and form controls — are reachable and operable via keyboard alone.
- Screen reader compatible: Pages use semantic HTML with appropriate landmark regions (nav, main, footer), ARIA labels where needed, and descriptive link text.
- Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
- Resizable text: All text scales correctly up to 200% zoom without loss of content or functionality.
- Focus indicators: Visible focus outlines are maintained for all interactive elements.
- Alt text: All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text.
- ARIA: Expandable components (FAQ accordion, mobile menu) use aria-expanded attributes to communicate state to assistive technologies.
- No flashing content: This site does not contain content that flashes more than 3 times per second.
