I'm Lyna Ashu, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for making healthcare accessible, personal, and genuinely convenient. I founded Greater ATL Health because I was tired of watching patients fall through the cracks of an overloaded system — waiting weeks for appointments that last 8 minutes with someone who barely knows their name.
As an FNP, I'm trained to diagnose, treat, and manage a full range of acute and chronic conditions — from same-day sick visits and DOT physicals to long-term weight loss programs and preventive care. I practice with full prescriptive authority and can order labs, imaging, and specialist referrals directly during your visit.

Yes. I can prescribe most common medications and send them directly to your preferred pharmacy. Controlled substances (Schedule II) require an in-person visit per federal law, but the vast majority of prescriptions are handled entirely via telehealth.
Yes. Video visits are conducted through Doxy.me, a fully encrypted, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Doxy.me does not record visits, does not store patient data, and operates under a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA). Your health information is never shared without your consent.
DOT physicals include both a video exam and, when required, an in-person component for vision/hearing screening and urine collection. I'll walk you through exactly what's needed at your booking. Most CDL drivers are cleared same-day and receive their FMCSA medical certificate immediately after the exam.
I'm licensed to practice in Georgia and can see patients anywhere in the state via telehealth. This includes the full Greater Atlanta metro — Atlanta, Buckhead, Midtown, Decatur, Marietta, Alpharetta, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Smyrna, Kennesaw, and all surrounding counties.
Yes — and this is one of the biggest advantages of telehealth. Managing conditions like diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, or thyroid disease works extremely well via telehealth. I can monitor your labs, adjust medications, and check in regularly without you needing to take time off work.
I can order lab work and imaging during your visit. I'll send orders electronically to a lab near you (LabCorp, Quest, or your preference). Once results are in, we'll review them together in a brief follow-up visit or I'll send you a message through the secure patient portal.
Greater ATL Health is a self-pay practice — meaning you pay a flat, transparent fee at the time of your visit with no insurance required. Our prices are:

By not accepting insurance, I can keep prices low, spend more time with you, and skip the billing delays and bureaucracy. Many patients pay less out-of-pocket here than their insurance copay at a specialist. You may also request a superbill (itemized receipt) to submit for out-of-network reimbursement if your plan allows it.
